MOSTAR, May 26 (Hina) - The EU Administration in Mostar today
announced that UN Rapporteur on Human Rights, Tadeusz Mazowiecki,
would visit Mostar next Thursday.
During his two-day visit, Mazowiecki would conduct talks with
EU Administration representatives and representatives of Croatian
and Muslim authorities in Mostar, aide to Mostar's EU
Administrator, Klaus Matscher, told reporters.
Mazowiecki's investigation would concentrate on the freedom of
movement, refugee situation and minority rights.
Chief of the EU civilian police, Ian Mayvoggel said that the
joint police patrols (involving EU, Moslem and Croat officers)
would start on new beats as of Thursday.
Reporters were also told about a new agreement guaranteeing
freedom of movement to all people in need of medical attention.
