ZAGREB, May 17 (Hina) - A Croatian minister and the head of the
Government's office for displaced people and refugees, Adalbert
Rebic, returned from the Italian town and province of Bergamo on
Wednesday, which he had visited at an invitation by an association
of intellectuals from Bergamo called Circolo Culturale Poliedro
Bergamo.
During his stay Minister Rebic met the province's president,
Giovanni Capilluzzo, and the Bergamo mayor, Guido Vicentini, read a
statement form the office for refugees.
Minister Rebic also held talks with representatives of Caritas
and Bergamo's committee for humanitarian aid, that had sent great
relief aid for displaced people and refugees in Croatia so far.
