MUNICH, May 24 (Hina) - Croatia's consul general to Munich, Ivan
Simek, today met Bavarian Cardinal Wetter for talks on the plight
of Croats in the Banja Luka area of northwestern Bosnia, the
consulate general said in a statement.
Wetter expressed dismay at the inhumane treatment of
Catholic Croats by Bosnian Serb authorities in the region.
He supported Croatia in its efforts to peacefully
reintegrate the occupied areas.
Wetter said he would help the Croatian community in Bavaria
to find a facility where they could satisfy their cultural needs.
