MUNICH, May 20 (Hina) - A delegation of the Croatian association of
farmers finished a several-day visit to Bavaria this evening. The
62-member delegation (including farmers, counties' representatives,
faculties and institutes' workers as well as Croatian high-ranking
officials) toured this part of Germany at an invitation of the
Bavarian farmers' association.
The Croatian delegation was received by a Bavarian Parliament
chairman, Schmitt Glaeser, as well.
The Croatian delegation's head, Damir Sinkovic, informed Mr.
Glaeser of the Croatian farming organizations' work and the
situation in the country's agriculture. He also spoke of
consequences of war-damage in villages and farms caused in the
Serbian aggression against Croatia. Sinkovic thanked to Bavaria for
help it is offering to Croatia.
During meetings with Bavarian farmers' representatives
Croatian delegates discussed possibilities for better cooperation,
and agreed on some concrete steps in this regard.
The delegates are returning to Croatia tomorrow.
