ISTANBUL, May 24 (Hina) - Croatian Economy Minister Nadan Vidosevic
yesterday opened a Croatian consulate-general in Istanbul.
The opening of the consulate coincides with the Mediterranian
Forum - a commercial event gathering representatives of chambers of
commerce from various countries, as a sign of increasing Croatian
presence on the Turkish and other Near East markets.
The opening was attended by a number of Turkish government
official and public figures, a Croatian foreign ministry delegation
headed by Assistant Minister Davor Stern, a Croatian business
delegation and members of the diplomatic corps.
