MOSTAR, May 18 (Hina) - Bosnian Croats and Moslems signed in
Mostar today an agreement on the functioning of the Federation of
Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The agreement includes a set of mechanisms which are to
accelerate the establishment and functioning of the Moslem-Croat
Federation and time limits within which the provisions of the
Bonn accord are to be implemented.
The agreement was signed in the European Union
administration headquarters by Kresimir Zubak, the President of
the Presidential Council of the Croat Republic of Herzeg-Bosnia
and President of the Federation, and Ejup Ganic, a member of the
Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina and Vice President of the
Federation.
The document was also signed by US mediator Charles Thomas
and the German representative in the big-power Contact Group for
Bosnia Herzegovina, Michael Steiner.
