SARAJEVO, May 13 (Hina) - Bosnian Serb authorities today denied
clearance to all UN supply and relief convoys, the UN in Sarajevo
said today.
The UN was planning to dispatch 25 convoys to various parts of
Bosnia, but none of them was allowed by Pale, a spokesman said.
Pale also rejected a request for the medical evacuation of
seriously wounded and sick people from Gorazde, including a 17-
year-old legless hepatitis B patient.
A request by the Medecins Sans Frontieres organisation which
was planning to dispatch a shipment of medical supplies and drugs
to Gorazde was also denied.
According to a UN spokesman, it was getting increasingly
difficult for UN military personnel to cross Serb checkpoints in
the Sarajevo area.
