SARAJEVO, May 4 (Hina) - Fresh fighting was reported around Mt
Vlasic, central Bosnia, and UN military observers counted more than
90 strong detonations early this morning at the Komar pass, on a
road between Travnik and Donji Vakuf.
There were no reports of infantry clashes.
The situation was more stable in northern Bosnia in the last
24 hours, but artillery exchanges continued in the areas of
Gradacac, Kalesija, Majevica and in the Sava river valley.
There were no new attacks on Bihac yesterday, but the UNPROFOR
Bangladeshi battalion counted around 200 detonations.
UN spokesman in Sarajevo said that Serbs continued obstructing
the delivery of fuel to 'blue helmets' in eastern-Bosnian enclaves.
Peace-keepers in Gorazde, Srebrenica and Zepa had no choice
but go about their business on foot, the spokesman complained.
The self-proclaimed Serb authorities at Pale today gave
clearance to only one of the twenty convoys which were to cross
Serb-held territory.
