SARAJEVO, Feb 26 (Hina) - UN military observers have reported a
growing number of detonations in northwestern Bosnia.
In the last 24 hours, 141 explosions have been counted east
of Velika Kladusa, 33 have been recorded around Bosanska Otoka
and Bosanska Krupa, and 11 in the Bihac area, the UN in Sarajevo
said today.
UN peacekeepers in the Doboj area in the north and
Srebrenica in the east also reported an increasing number of
detonations. They counted 60 explosions there but were unable to
say if there were any infantry clashes.
Several artillery detonations were also recorded in the
Travnik area of central Bosnia.
Recent UN reports have linked Serb artillery attacks on
Travnik to Bosnian army activity on Mount Vlasic.
An unidentified helicopter was spotted flying over Coralici,
eastern Bosnia, where the UN Bangladeshi logistic base is
situated.
