UN TANK TRUCKS STRANDED AT VISOKO CHECKPOINT

SARAJEVO, Feb 25 (Hina) - Another incident involving UN peace- keepers and Bosnian army troops occurred today at a Bosnian army checkpoint in Visoko north of Sarajevo, the UN in Sarajevo said. Bosnian army troops manning the checkpoint stopped two UN tank trucks carrying fuel for the Canadian base in Visoko. According to the UN, the Bosnian army commander in charge of the checkpoint threatened to use force if any peace-keepers were sent to rescue their colleagues. Anti-tank mines were set on the truck's path and Bosnian troops threatened to shoot at any peace-keepers who attempted to approach the blocked vehicles. (hina) as 251917 MET feb 95
