ZAGREB, Feb 13 (Hina) - An aide to Croatian Foreign Minister,
Smiljan Simac, today received a delegation of the Finnish Foreign
Ministry, led by the deputy director of the political
administration, Markus Lyr, and the director of the economic
administration, Kari Mitruner.
Simac informed the Finnish officials of the reasons why
Croatia decided to end UNPROFOR's current mandate. He added that
Croatia would further abide by the peaceful reintegration of its
occupied areas, a statement from the Croatian Foreign Ministry
said.
They considered the bilateral relations between Croatia and
Finland and stressed the importance of promoting cultural and
economic relations between the two countries.
The talks were attended by Finland's Ambassador in Zagreb,
Perti Torstila.
