ZAGREB, Jan 29 (Hina) - A Croatian Parliament delegation today
left for Strasbourg to attend this year's first session of the
Council of Europe's Parliamentary Assembly from January 30 to
February 3.
The delegation, headed by House of Representatives vice
president Zarko Domljan, included House of Counties president
Katica Ivanisevic, Count Jakob Eltz of Vukovar, Ivo Skrabalo and
Snjezana Biga-Friganovic.
The agenda includes an item on Lithuania becoming a full
member of the Council.
The session is also expected to debate the situation in
Chechnya and Russia's application for memberhip of the Council.
