SARAJEVO, Feb 11 (Hina) - Clashes between the Bosnian Serbs and the
Bosnian Army were raging overnight southwest of Bihac, UN
Protection Forces (UNPROFOR) sources said on Saturday.
There were 290 detonations on that battlefield. Serbs
continued with attempts to push back Bosnian soldiers from the hill
overlooking the Vedro Polje area. The Bosnian Army's Fifth Corps
managed to repel the attacks.
Clashes around Velika Kladusa were not so fierce.
In the whole of Bosnia-Herzegovina there were 10 breaches of
the cease fire agreement in the last 24 hours.
The fighting in northern Bosnia re-erupted after a long lull.
There were 52 detonations counted in the so-called Bosnian
corridor.
At the same time 131 armed incidents occurred in Sarajevo, but
UNPROFOR did not hold that these incidents should be treated as the
cease-fire violations.
