UNPROFOR FEARS DETERIORATION IN BIHAC POCKET

ZAGREB, Feb 7 (Hina) - The situation in Bosnia-Herzegovina was calm yesterday except for Velika Kladusa where heavy fighting was reported, the UN in Zagreb said today. About 600 Knin Serb troops crossed over to the Bihac enclave in the last week of January, UN spokesman Paul Risley said. Col. Walt Natynczyk said UNPROFOR was concerned about a possible deterioration of the situation in the Bihac pocket, adding that the UN personnel enjoyed only limited freedom of movement in the enclave. From Feb 1 to 4, UN monitors reported 62 helicopter flights in the north of the Srebrenica enclave, easern Bosnia, Natynczyk said. He added that the copters were coming from Yugoslavia and flew at low altitudes. Natynczyk noted that the UN Military Observers stationed at Belgrade airport were unable, because of Serb interference, to use their radar monitoring facilities from Feb 2 5o Feb 5.
