SARAJEVO, Feb 4 (Hina) - Bosnian Serb authorities in Pale today
denied passage to six UNPROFOR convoys bound for the Moslem
enclaves of Gorazde, Srebrenica and Zepa in eastern Bosnia.
Two of the convoys were to carry fuel for UN peace-keepers
stationed in the enclaves, UN spokesman in Sarajevo, Alexander
Ivanko, said today.
He invoked the 31 Dec Agreement on the Cessation of
Hostilities, which stipulates full freedom of movement for UNPROFOR
vehicles and personnel.
But this provision has been consistently disregarded by
Bosnian Serbs.
The 'blue routes' to Sarajevo airport are still open to UN
vehicles, but in the past two days they have been used by only 11
trucks.
Another round of talks on opening the 'blue routes' to
civilian and commercial traffic has been scheduled for tomorrow.
The Bosnian Serbs are still refusing to release Bosnian TV
reporter Namik Berberovic.
