SARAJEVO, Feb 9, (Hina) - At 5.25pm this evening the first serious
breach of the cease-fire agreement in Sarajevo was recorded, a Hina
correspondent reported direct from the scene of the breach.
At least seven detonations echoed at the Bosnian Army and Serb
confrontation line near the Jewish cemetery in the central part of
the city.
Lightning flashes were seen after the explosion and small arms
fire could be heard. As a result Sarajevo city has been put on high
alert.
There was no information so far on who was responsible for the
violation of the cease-fire, which has held in Sarajevo since
December, 23, 1994.
