TALKS ON IMPLEMENTATION OF TRUCE IN BOSNIA CONTINUE IN SARAJEVO

ZAGREB, Jan 12 (Hina) - UN Protection Force would draw up a draft agreement on free movement in Bosnia-Herzegovina from 18 January in line with the agreement reached by Bosniac, Croat and Serb military officials at a meeting yesterday at Sarajevo Airport. Talks on the reopening of blue roads to Sarajevo for civilian and humanitarian traffic were now continuing in the Bosnian capital, under yesterday's agreement, a UN spokesman, Michael Williams, today told a Zagreb press conference. The vital blue roads were to be reopened at the latest on Saturday, January 14, in line with Wednesday's meeting. Meetings on the evacuation of the wounded and ill, as well as on the exchange of war prisoners and missing persons were scheduled for today, Williams added. The next session of the joint commission of the Bosniac, Croat and Serb representatives for the implementation of the cessation of hostilities agreement was to be held on January 19. UNPROFOR registered ten cases of violation of the cease-fire in Bosnia on Wednesday. The situation in western Bosnia was relatively stable with skirmishes near Zegar and Vedro Polje, southwest of Bihac, and near Velika Kladusa. The exchange of fire between the Bosnian Army and Bosnian Serbs took place near Srebrenica, eastern Bosnia, this morning, but no casualties were reported, according to Williams.
