ZAGREB, Jan 25 (Hina) - The Norwegian Government is ready to grant
Croatia two million dollars for humanitarian purposes, the incoming
Norwegian Ambassador to Croatia, Bjorn Frode Osterns, today told
Deputy Prime Minister Ivica Kostovic.
Kostovic said Croatia would use the money to build housing for
refugees in the Vukovar and Osijek counties and for buying medical
equipment for the Vinkovci medical centre.
Norway has so far donated 90-million-dollar-worth humanitarian
aid to war-torn eastern Croatia.
The newly-appointed Norwegian ambassador today also met other
Croatian government officials.
