of international forces in Bosnia but places the responsibilty for

The Resolution stressed that the amount of international
financial assistance made available to the parties would depend on
the degree of cooperativeness in implementing the peace agreement,
which includes cooperation with the International War Crimes
Tribunal and the Plan of Action approved by the London Conference.
The Resolution called on the sides to strictly abide by the
commitments arising out of agreements concluded so far, including
the respect of the highest human rights standards and the right of
refugees and displaced people to return to their homes.
Welcoming the mutual recognition of all successors to former
Yugoslavia within their internationally recognised borders, the
Resolution stressed the importance of a full normalisation of
relations, including the establishment of diplomatic relations
between these countries.
The Resolution emphasised the important role of Croatia and
Yugoslavia in the successful implementation of the peace agreement
in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The Resolution extended the mandate of the UN mission in
Bosnia-Herzegovina, which includes the International Police Force,
till December 21, 1997.
