SEOUL, 13 Dec (Hina) - A seminar on investment in Croatia was held in the South-Korean Chamber of Trade and Industry on Friday. Representatives of interested Korean companies, who attended the seminar, were informed about
microeconomic indicators of the situation in Croatian economy as well as about legal and other possibilities for foreign investments.
SEOUL, 13 Dec (Hina) - A seminar on investment in Croatia was held
in the South-Korean Chamber of Trade and Industry on Friday.
Representatives of interested Korean companies, who attended
the seminar, were informed about microeconomic indicators of the
situation in Croatian economy as well as about legal and other
possibilities for foreign investments. #L#
The seminar was first addressed by Croatian Foreign Minister
Mate Granic and the Chamber's head Sang-Ha Kim. Before the seminar
began, the two officials held a meeting which tackled the role of
trade chambers of the two countries in widening economic exchange
and removing the current adverse balance of trade.
In his introductory speech, the Chamber's head Sang-Ha Kim
stressed the stability of Croatia's economy, adding that Croatia
was a 'potentially promising market'.
Granic briefed the seminar about Croatia's history and main
guidelines of its present political and economic position.
Announcing the forthcoming signing of new agreements between
Croatia and South Korea, Granic expressed hope that the two
countries would open their respective embassies in Zagreb and Seoul
during the next year.
Granic's aide for economic cooperation, Spomenka Cek, informed
the seminar about possibilities Croatian economy offered to
potential investors.
The seminar in the South-Korean Chamber of Trade was the last
item in the agenda of Minister Granic's official visit to South
Korea.
