SEOUL, Dec 13 (Hina) - A Croatian delegation headed by Foreign
Minister Mate Granic, currently on a visit to the Republic of
Korea, visited the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA)
on Friday.
KOICA president Kee-bock Shin informed Granic about the
numerous activities of the agency which operates as part of the
Foreign Ministry and which was established in line with UNCTAD
recommendations.
He said that KOICA provided assistance to underdeveloped
countries to reduce the gap between the north and the south. It was
developing a specific Korean type of international aid by offering
its own development experience and technological solutions to
developing countries.
