ZAGREB, Dec 7 (Hina) - An aide to the Croatian Foreign Minister,
Neven Madey, on Saturday received a delegation of the U.S. city of
Dayton, Ohio, led by Mayor Michael Turner.
The Croatian official thanked the Dayton delegation for
hospitality the city had offered to participants of the peace
negotiations held in that city a year ago. He stressed that the
Dayton negotiations had given a framework for the Bosnia-
Herzegovina peace accords which should be consistently implemented.
Mayor Turner conveyed wishes of the Dayton city administration
and citizens for establishing long-term friendship with Croatia,
and voiced interest in development of economic relations in trade
and joint investment.
At the Zagreb talks the American delegation proposed that
Dayton and the Croatian town of Vukovar become twinned towns.
