PRESIDENT TUDJMAN SENDS MESSAGES OF THANKS TO PRESIDENTS IZETBEGOV

IZETBEGOV $ IC, CHIRAC, DEMIREL ZAGREB, Nov 22 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman forwarded messages of thanks to the presidents of Bosnia-Herzegovina, France and Turkey, who had sent their best wishes for a speedy recovery, the President's office said on Friday. The message to the President of the Presidency of Bosnia- Herzegovina reads, in part: "I am convinced that peace and cooperation which we have supported will flourish on the groundwork laid by the Washington and Dayton Agreements." In his message of thanks to French President Jacques Chirac, President Tudjman expressed the belief that relations between France and Croatia would continue to develop to the benefit of both nations. In his message to Turkish President Suleyman Demirel, President Tudjman said, in part: "I am sure that we will continue to put forth our joint efforts to resolve the crisis in Bosnia- Herzegovina on the basis of the Washington and Dayton Agreements."
