The three officials were to travel by plane from Ortijes
airport to Split, but due to bad weather, the flight was cancelled
and they started towards Split in a convoy. While the convoy was
moving along the road toward the Croatian border crossing of
Metkovic, a truck bearing Herzeg-Bosnian license plates tried to
enter the line of vehicles several times. In one moment, the truck
got near to an OSCE security vehicle which was at the end of the
line and hit it three times. The OSCE vehicle was carrying
Frowick's daughter, the report said.
OSCE security members opened fire at the truck after which it
stopped by the road.
The convoy continued its journey toward the border crossing of
Metkovic, where customs officials were informed about the incident.
Part of OSCE security returned to Mostar and informed local police
forces about the incident. The incident was also reported to the
IPTF command for the Mostar area.
