ZAGREB, 18 Oct (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Mate Granic on Friday held talks with Austria's former foreign minister Alois Mock. The talks focused on the peace process in the region, Croatia's integration into European
institutions and the solution of open questions with neighbouring countries, especially with Slovenia.

After the talks, Granic said that Mr Mock was one of Croatia's
best friends, adding that Mock's support dated back to Croatia's
most difficult times.
Mock said that he was closely watching the process of peaceful
reintegration of the Croatian Danubian area, expressing hope that
Croatia and Serbia would cooperate in the reintegration process.
Mock will visit Vukovar and Osijek on Saturday. The former
Austrian foreign minister is to open an Austrian library in Osijek.
