SARAJEVO, Sept 13 (Hina) - International peace coordinator Carl
Bildt, OSCE mission chief Robert Frowick and IFOR commander
Admiral Joseph Lopez said on Friday that the people of Bosnia-
Herzegovina would have a chance to decide on the future of their
country in elections on Saturday.
In a message on the eve of the first post-war general
elections, they called on the citizens of Bosnia-Herzegovina to
ensure that election day was truly a day of peace, dignity and
democracy for the whole country.
Bildt, Frowick and Lopez recalled that all three governments
in that country had cooperated between themselves and with the
international community to create the best possible conditions so
that every citizen could vote in peace and safety.
We call on you to support their and our efforts. We will
resolutely respond to any abuse or provocation, they said.
