ZAGREB, Sept 4 (Hina) - A good turnout of this year's tourist season has spurred the demand for shares of Croatian hotel and tourist companies. Stock trade at the Croatian capital market has carried on for months, especially with
stocks of Istrian companies such as Jadran- Turist, Arenaturist, Laguna and Rivijera, and stocks of tourist companies from the south coast have also been attracting more and more attention.
ZAGREB, Sept 4 (Hina) - A good turnout of this year's tourist
season has spurred the demand for shares of Croatian hotel and
tourist companies.
Stock trade at the Croatian capital market has carried on for
months, especially with stocks of Istrian companies such as Jadran-
Turist, Arenaturist, Laguna and Rivijera, and stocks of tourist
companies from the south coast have also been attracting more and
more attention. #L#
Stocks of tourist companies Suncani Hvar and Zlatni Rat have
been dealing in shares regularly recently.
Their prices have gone up - the shares of Suncani Hvar rose
from 35 to 45 kunas and Zlatni Rat rose to 118 kunas a share.
At the Zagreb stock market the first transactions with the
shares of the Dubrovnik travel agency Atlas and Hotel Jelsa have
been conducted. The Atlas shares quoted at 195 kunas, while the
shares of the Hotel Jelsa (on the island of Hvar) were traded at
the price of 28.50 German marks.
The shares of the Plava Laguna company from Porec have the
best quotation at the Zagreb stock market at 810 kunas per share,
while at the Varazdin stock market they are quoted at 220 German
marks a share.
The stocks of other Istrian companies have been on the rise.
The Istraturist shares rose from 30 to 45 DM and those of
Jadranturist rose from 32 to 45 marks, Arenaturist's from 25 to 30
marks and Rivijera's from 20 to 25 German marks.
