GENEVA, 14 Aug (Hina) - Croats and Bosniacs on Wednesday agreed on
a political platform for a simultaneous transfer of authority from
institutions of the Croat Republic of Herzeg-Bosnia and
institutions of Bosnia-Herzegovina to the Federation of Bosnia-
Herzegovina by the end of August. A special document on the
agreement would be signed tomorrow in Sarajevo. #L#
After today's talks, Croatian President Franjo Tudjman and
Bosnian President Alija Izetbegovic signed a joint statement
confirming their support for a full implementation of the Dayton
and Washington peace accords as well as the timely organisation of
Bosnian elections.
The 'agreed measures' on the transfer of authority to the
Federation would be signed in Sarajevo on Thursday by the
Federation's President and Vice-President Kresimir Zubak and Ejup
Ganic respectively, as well as by the Bosnian Premier Hasan
Muratovic.
