The Yugoslav central bank governor, who was also invited, did
not show up.
The main item on the agenda was a proposal by the Basle-based
BIS Bank that former Yugoslavia's gold and silver reserves kept
with that bank be distributed among the successor states in the
same proportion as the membership stake in the International
Monetary Fund.
Also discussed were Yugoslavia's clearing receivables from
foreign partners.
The talks were held behind closed doors. No statement or press
conference is forthcoming.
