Upon his arrival in Dubrovnik, Kantor stressed that the
mission of the former Finance Minister Ronald Brown had been aimed
at the normalisation of life in the region and the revival of
economy. The new delegation would continue that mission, he added.
Kantor and Premier Matesa left the airport for Mt Sveti Ivan,
the site of the U.S. plane crash, which happened on 3 April this
year and which killed the U.S. Finance Minister Ron Brown and his
delegation.
The U.S. delegation led by Finance Minister Kantor will hold
several meetings, including those with Croatian Premier Zlatko
Matesa and his Bosnian counterpart Hasan Muratovic.
