WASHINGTON, 9 July (Hina) - Concrete economic projects and

The U.S. delegation will be visiting Croatia and Bosnia-
Herzegovina between 11 and 13 July. The last U.S. delegation, led
by the former Finance Minister Ron Brown, was killed in a plane
crash near Dubrovnik on 3 April.
The U.S. delegation and Croatian officials would discuss the
normalisation of trading relations and stimulation of America's
investment in Croatia, which had a very good economy, Kantor said.
The talks with Bosnian officials would focus on the
reconstruction of war-destroyed infrastructure.
The U.S. delegation is to arrive in Croatia on Thursday. On
the same day, the delegation will attend a private service in
memory of Minister Brown and his delegation, on the Sveti Ivan hill
near Dubrovnik.
Minister Kantor will meet Croatian Premier Zlatko Matesa in
Dubrovnik. On Friday, the U.S. delegation will visit Sarajevo and
meet officials of the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina and the
Bosnian government. After the visit to Sarajevo, Kantor and his
associates will visit U.S. troops in Tuzla.
Finance Minister Kantor will end his visit to the region on
Saturday in Zagreb, where he is to hold talks with Croatian
President Franjo Tudjman.
The U.S. delegation includes representatives of 18 leading
U.S. companies from the sectors of tourism, finances, power
industry and aviation. Most of them are already conducting
negotiations on concrete projects in Croatia. Last year's income of
those companies amounted to U.S. 65 million.
