DUBROVNIK, July 10 (Hina) - U.S. Commerce Secretary Mickey Kantor is on Thursday to arrive in Dubrovnik as part of his three-day visit to Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

is on Thursday to arrive in Dubrovnik as part of his three-day
visit to Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina. #L#
Kantor is to visit and lay wreaths on the St. Johns hill where
an aircraft carrying a U.S. delegation headed by Commerce Secretary
Ron Brown crashed on 2 April.
During their visit to Dubrovnik, the U.S. delegation
consisting of 18 leading American companies are to hold talks with
Croatian Prime Minister Zlatko Matesa and Bosnian Prime Minister
Hasan Muratovic, which should be concluded with a signing a
memorandum on understanding.
Kantor is also to hold talks on Saturday with Croatian Economy
Minister Davor Stern, and is to be received by Croatian President
Franjo Tudjman.
On occasion of Kantor's visit to Croatia and Bosnia-
Herzegovina, the U.S. Department of Commerce issued a statement
which said that Kantor's "mission initiates the implementation of
the Clinton Administration's comprehensive commercial and
investment development strategy for Bosnia and Croatia" and that
his trip was a demonstration of the American support for peace in
the region.
