Susak agreed to forward an invitation to the Italian Defense
minister to visit Croatia.
The talks also focused on the current issues of peaceful
reintegration of eastern Slavonia and the elections in Mostar.
Susak had also met with a U.S. special envoy for military
stability in the Balkans, James Pardew, the statement said.
The talks focused on the Defense Law of the Bosnian
Federation.
The Croatian side, with the assistance of the United States,
would try to find solutions to all open questions, in line with the
Dayton peace accords, so that the short version of the Bosnian
Federation Defense Law could be adjusted by the end of the week,
the statement said.
