ROME, Jul 5 (Hina) - A joint Italian-Croatian task group, led by
Croatia's Hidajet Biscevic and Italy's Vincenzo Mann, closed a two-
day conference in Rome on Friday.
The conference focused on the protection of minorities and
bilateral cultural cooperation.
Head of the Croatian delegation Hidajet Biscevic today met
Piero Fassino of the Italian Foreign Ministry, who is shortly to
visit Croatia to discuss several bilateral agreements.
"We are trying to resolve all the open issues to our mutual
satisfaction - in a spirit that will contribute to the welfare of
both countries and the forging of closer ties between Croatia and
the European Union," Biscevic said after the talks.
