BRAC, 9 June (Hina) - The season aircraft service between Ancona, Italy and the Croatian island of Brac started on Sunday. The first plane from Ancona landed at Brac airport with a delegation of the City of Ancona aboard.

The Italian delegation included several reporters from
Ancona and Rome as well as the general director of the 'Avio
Nove' air company. The delegation was welcomed by Split County
Deputy Prefect Spiro Erceg, representative of the Italian Embassy
in Croatia, Benedetto Latteri, and the owner of the 'Auco
Balleno' agency from Milan, Lucija Vlahovic, who is financing the
airlift between the Italian and Croatian coasts. Regular
flights between Ancona and Brac will start on 23 June. Nenad
Sore, director of Brac airport, said that the season aircraft
service between Brac and Treviso would start on 24 June.
