ZAGREB, Jun 21 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman today
received representatives of the Croatian INA Oil company and the
Chinese oil company Sinochem Group, the President's office said in
a statement.
Following is the full text of the statement:
"INA supervisory board chairman Hrvoje Sarinic acquainted
President Tudjman with the business cooperation between INA and
Sinochem Group.
President Tudjman expressed satisfaction with the past
cooperation between Croatia and China. These good political and
economic relations could be further developed, because Croatia
could act as a bridge to Europe for China, he said.
Also present were the President's chief-of-staff Ivo Sanader,
economic advisor Darko Grguric and head of the President's cabinet
Gordan Radin.
The INA-Sinochem contingent included INA general Manager
Andrija Kovacevic, Sinochem Group president Zheng Dunxun and
director of the London-based Sinochem subsidiary, Han Jin."
