Zubak rejected the Moslems' suggestion to hold the local
Mostar elections at the same time as the general Bosnian elections
in September.
Further normalization depended on the success of
implementation of elections in Mostar, Zubak said.
Expressing his belief that a resolution satisfactory to both
sides would be found, Zubak said he was satisfied with the work of
the new EU Administrator of Mostar, Ricardo Perez Casado.
De la Pena said that progress in defusing tensions in Mostar
was obvious.
He said that Zubak had pledged to continue to generate his
positive influence in order to achieve an atmosphere of political
understanding in Mostar.
