The MPs supported the Bill on amendments to the Law on the
election of members of local self-government and administration
representative bodies (in the first reading). Instead of the
current mixed electoral system (relative and majority system), the
bill proposes the introduction of a solely relative majority system
for the election of members of representative bodies.
The MPs also supported bills on foreign affairs, residential
facilities management and a package of labour legislation bills.
The House of Representatives also accepted the Bill on
amendments to the Vines' Act, proposed by Slavko Linic (in the
first reading).
Bills proposed by the representatives Alex Luttenberger (Bill
on amendments to the Croatian Chambers of Commerce Act) and Damir
Kajin and Ivan Jakovcic (Bill on international cooperation between
local self-government units) did not get support of the House of
Representatives.
