OSIJEK, Apr 5 (Hina) - About 20 Serb women currently living in the Ilok area (eastern Slavonia) yesterday visited their homes in western Slavonia. The visit was organised by UNTAES and the Croatian Government Temporary Administration
Office for the establishment of Croatian authority in the Danubian area.

Ilok area (eastern Slavonia) yesterday visited their homes in
western Slavonia. The visit was organised by UNTAES and the
Croatian Government Temporary Administration Office for the
establishment of Croatian authority in the Danubian area. #L#
The group visited Lipik, Pakrac and Kusonje and met family
members who stayed in the area.
After the visit, the group met the Head of the Government
office Ivica Vrkic and his deputy Mirko Tankosic, who spoke about
the peaceful reintegration of eastern Slavonia and answered the
women's questions about the status of Serbs who had left western
Slavonia.
The group was led by UNTAES official Richard Wilcox.
