Immediately after his arrival at Amsterdam airport, General
Blaskic turned himself in to the Dutch police.
Blaskic's defender, lawyer Zvonimir Hodak from Zagreb, told a
reporter of the Croatian news agency Hina that the Dutch
authorities treated General Blaskic in a correct manner.
Blaskic is to spend the first night in The Hague in prison.
Tuesday morning, the ICTY court of first instance would decide
whether to allow or refuse Blaskic's request to be accommodated in
house arrest, Hodak said.
