Stressing that Croatia's cooperation with Malaysia depended
chiefly on the stability of the Croat-Moslem Federation and the
implementation of the Dayton Agreements, Minister Granic said
Malaysia was ready to sign a package of bilateral agreements with
Croatia. Most of these should be ready for signing in April, when
Malaysia's Prime Minister Mahathir bin Mohammad would visit
Croatia.
"We are glad that Malaysia and Croatia are united in their
wish for the implementation of the Dayton Agreement and the
successful estabihsment of the Bosnian Federation," Minister Badawi
said after the talks.
He expressed the wish for extending cooperation with Croatia
to new fields, including joint investments.
President Tudjman has been invited to visit Malaysia, Minister
Granic said, adding that the visit would take place this year.
