ZAGREB, March 21 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Defence Minister Lt. Gen.
Kresimir Cosic on Thursday met US State Department official for
military stabilization James Pardew for talks on a program of
equipping and training the armed forces of the Bosnian Croat-Moslem
Federation.
Pardew told reporters after the meeting that his delegation
visited Zagreb to make sure that the Croatian Defence Ministry
fully understood the nature of that program.
He added that his talks with Cosic had focused on Croatian and
US efforts at strengthening the Bosnian Federation.
Pardew had previously visited Sarajevo where he met the
Federation defence minister and military officials to determine
steps to encourage the passage of defence legislation.
Before his visit to Sarajevo, Pardew had been in the Turkish
capital Ankara where he had participated in a conference of donors
for the program of equipping and training the Bosnian Federation
armed forces.
