The group of nine engineers and legal experts, headed by the
'Volkswagen' financial director Reiner Grimm, could see that the
war damage on the plants was actually small, but that all important
machines were destroyed or taken away by the Serbs who left
Vogosca.
'The only thing we can say is that the situation is much worse
that we had expected', Grimm told reporters.
'Volkswagen' representatives did not want to comment on
whether and when the cooperation with 'UNIS', which started in
1972, would be continued.
