ZAGREB, 1 March (Hina) - Today's issue of the Croatian daily
'VJESNIK' brings an article on a House of Representatives
discussion on the Bill on war profiteers, which had been proposed
by the Croatian Peasants' Party.
'A Mini-Reform of Penal Code' is the main topic of an
interview with the aide to the Croatian Justice Minister, Tomislav
Penic.
Journalist Nedjeljko Musulin writes about problems in the
functioning of the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina in Bugojno in
an article headlined 'Self-Proclaimed Mayor Prevents Return of
Croats'.
The head of the Croatian delegation in the Council of Europe,
Zarko Domljan, speaks about Croatia's admittance to the
organisation.
Another Croatian daily, 'VECERNJI LIST' publishes an article
on changes in the leadership of the Croatian National Bank (NBH)
and its possible new governor Marko Skreb.
The paper also brings an article on proposals by the members
of the Croatian House of Representatives, who demanded that the
loans for return and development be more thoroughly discussed, that
farmers-returnees be allowed tax and customs concessions, that the
uncontrollable import be prevented and that the size of farmers'
landed property not be limited.
