CROATIA PROPOSES PROPERTY REGISTRATION IN EASTERN SLAVONIA

OSIJEK, Feb 29 (Hina) - The Croatian government on Thursday sent a letter to the UN Transitional Administration in Eastern Slavonia (UNTAES), proposing that it approve the registration and assessment of corporate property in the occupied areas of eastern Croatia for privatization purposes. The letter said that this was of strategic interest for the peaceful reintegration of the UNTAES area into the legal system of the Republic of Croatia.
