Schussel arrived in Croatia on Thursday for a one-day
official visit.
Matesa said that Croatia and Austria had identical views on
the implementation of the Dayton peace accord, the reintegration
of the Croatian Danubian area, the establishment of the Croat-
Moslem Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina and defusing the
situation in Mostar.
"Both Croatia and Austria support the Bosnian Federation,"
Schussel said.
"We have agreed to step up economic cooperation between our
countries," Schussel said, citing details of his talks with
Matesa, Economy Minister Davor Stern and Privatization Minister
Ivan Penic.
Matesa thanked the people of Austria for humanitarian aid
they had sent to Croatia, particularly through the action "A
Neighbour in Trouble".
