According to Mintas-Hodak, the meeting tackled 'possibilities
of cooperation with the OSCE in the peaceful reintegration of the
Croatian Danubian area'. The cooperation, she added, would be
realized through 'the establishment of a permanent mission which
would help create the process of gradual restoration of civil
tolerance between Croats who will return to the area and the
population they would meet there'.
The OSCE delegation would also visit Knin (liberated last
summer) as well as Osijek and the occupied area of eastern
Slavonia.
