Sica said that the OSCE wanted to find the best possible way
to help the Croatian government in establishing institutions in
both the liberated and still occupied areas of Croatia, a
statement from the Croatian Foreign Ministry said.
Granic and his first assistant, Ivan Simonovic, said that
the OSCE could play a role in monitoring the demilitarization of
the southernmost Prevlaka peninsula after UN monitors leave the
area following the expiry of their mandate.
Croatia was ready to ensure working conditions for OSCE
observers in the entire country, Granic said, describing
cooperation with OSCE as very good.
In the following days the OSCE delegation would visit Knin,
Osijek and the Croatian Danubian area, the statement said.
