AIRCRAFT CARRIER "GEORGE WASHINGTON" (in the Adriatic), Feb 19 (Hina) - Croatian Defense Council (HVO) Chief-of-Staff, General Zivko Budimir, and Bosnian Army Chief-of-Staff, General Rasim Delic, arrived at noon Monday aboard the
U.S.S George Washington aircraft carrier, anchored in the Adriatic. The two would meet IFOR commanders to discuss implementation of the military part of the Dayton Peace Accord.

(Hina) - Croatian Defense Council (HVO) Chief-of-Staff, General
Zivko Budimir, and Bosnian Army Chief-of-Staff, General Rasim
Delic, arrived at noon Monday aboard the U.S.S George Washington
aircraft carrier, anchored in the Adriatic. The two would meet IFOR
commanders to discuss implementation of the military part of the
Dayton Peace Accord. #L#
Although it was announced that Serb representatives would be
arriving on the same aircraft, they have not yet arrived. Sources
said that General Zdravko Tolimir had confirmed his arrival and was
expected to appear at the George Washington later in the day.
IFOR's main commander, Admiral Leighton Smith, and the EU high
official for the implementation of the Dayton Peace Accord, Carl
Bildt arrived at the aircraft carrier this morning. Bildt's closest
assistants arrived later.
The high ranking army officials and Bildt are expected to hold
talks about measures needed to be taken in the implementation of
the Dayton Peace Accord, especially in the light of the meeting
which took place on Saturday and Sunday in Rome.
Admiral Leighton Smith addressed the George Washington crew
saying that he believed the peace process had been strengthened
after talks in Rome and reiterated his belief that all sides would
continue to fulfill their tasks under the Dayton Peace Accord.
