Sanader on Wednesday talked on phone with German Foreign Minister
Klaus Kinkel in connection with the current situation in Mostar, a
statement from the President's Office said. #L#
'Mr Sanader said that the decision of the EU Administrator of
Mostar, Hans Koschnik, on the organisation of the city was in
opposition to the Dayton Agreements and the agreement Mr Koschnik
reached with the Croatian side some ten days ago. He asked Minister
Kinkel to do all that is necessary so that the decision mentioned
above could be harmonized with the agreement between Mr Koschnik
and the Croatian side as well as with the Dayton agreements'.
According to the statement, Minister Kinkel asked from the
Croatian Government to exert its influence and ease the tensions in
the city.
The Croatian President's Chief-Of-Staff also spoke with the
Italian Foreign Minister and head of the EU Ministerial Council,
Susana Agnelli, the statement said.
